Effect of Non-drug approaches of disease-resistant nutrition health care scheme on production performance of broilers

1. Objective of the Exp
The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of disease-resistant nutrition health care scheme on production performance of broilers. To increase the survival rate of broiler and decrease the use of antibiotic, get the optimal feed conversion rate.
2. Site and Time of the Exp
Site:Broiler farm of dayong company in Jiaozuo China
Experiment period:1-42d
Date:2008.7.20-2008.8.30
3. Design of Exp
A total of 55680 1 day old broilers from Dayong broiler farm. JiaoZuo HeNan 7were randomly allotted into 2 groups with 3 replicates (9280 birds per replicate), disease-resistant nutrition group and drug group, respectively.
Design of experiment is shown in table 1:

Scheme | 1. 1-4d:Florfenicol+drugs for E. coli+UNISOL1:2000 add in water 2. 5-9d:UNICIN 1:200 add in water 3. 10d UNIACIDS 1:2000 add in water drinking 24h From now on: UNIACIDS 1:1000 add in water drinking for 24h per 10d. UNICIN:1:500 add in water drinking for 3d per 10d according to the feces UNISOL:1:2500 add in water drinking for 3-5d when stress occurs

The result shows that parallel disease-resistant nutrition group with drug group. F/G increased 7.29%,survival rate increased 2.87%, health care costs decreased 0.4 yuan per broiler. In addition, Slaughter are two days ahead of disease-resistant nutrition group.
(2)Behavior observation
mental health,vaccination stress reaction,venness,broiler skin color is better than the control group. Stress of catching broiler and vaccination is small than control group.
6. Economic benefit analysis
F/G increased 7.29%,survival rate increased 2.87%, health care costs decreased 0.4 yuan per broiler. In addition, Slaughter are two days ahead of disease-resistant.
Profit increased 2.14 yuan per broiler. Profit increased 0.84 yuan by grow a kilo.
7. Conclusions
Unibio disease-resistant nutrition scheme can improve broilers’ health. Reduce the use of antibiotics. Increased feed consumption and survival rate. Increase the economic benefit.
